The Advanced Class is created for those who feel called to go deeper — into truly becoming a perfumer.

In this class, you will learn to understand raw materials in a more structured and intentional way, building accords from the ground up and developing your own way of composing a fragrance. You’ll begin to see how a scent is not just made, but crafted, layer by layer, decision by decision.

This class uses only raw materials — no single-note no pre-made accords.

Everything is built from zero, allowing you to fully experience the process, the challenges, and the beauty of true perfumery.

More than technique, this is about learning how to translate thoughts, emotions, and stories into scent and finding your own voice within it.

Our Advanced Class is divided into 5 progressive levels. We offer a flexible learning path, allowing you to tailor the journey to your own goals. Whether you want to complete just the first few stages and stop at Level 3, or go "all-in" and master all 5 levels, the choice is entirely yours.

Important notes: To ensure a strong foundation, students must successfully complete the current level before unlocking the next.

Focus: Foundation of Raw Materials & Technical Understanding

This level introduces students to the fundamental building blocks of perfumery. Students will learn:

• Categories of raw materials and their olfactory characteristics (essential oils, resins, absolutes, isolates, aroma chemicals, with examples.

• The structure of the fragrance industry.

• 3 Core technical parameters.

• Pre-dilution techniques for stability, safety, and usability

• Professional evaluation methods.

• Exploration of 40 selected raw materials

• Basic formulation and creation session

Main Objective (Level 1): To build a strong foundation in raw materials, technical understanding, and basic perfumery workflow.

Advance Class Level 1

Advance Class Level 2

Focus: Accord Development & Creative Composition

This level introduces students to the fundamental building blocks of perfumery. Students will learn:

• Deep exploration of 40 new raw materials

• Memory training and material recognition

• Understanding pairing, contrast, and fixation behavior

• Accord building using a mind-mapping method

• Translating concepts into structured accords

• Creating a perfume using 100% raw materials (no pre-made bases)

• Professional evaluation, group discussion, and formula refinement

Main Objective (Level 2): To develop the ability to create structured accords and begin composing perfumes independently with both technical and creative awareness.

Focus: Foundation of Accord & Floral Structure

This level marks the transition into a deeper, more structured understanding of perfumery. Students will learn:

• Explore other new 40 raw materials

• The concept of base accords and key accords as the foundation of a perfume

• The anatomy of an accord (heart, modifier, fixative, blender)

• Analysis and reconstruction of the Grojsman Accord

• How to build a base accord from scratch.

• Learn how to use the Vertical Trial Approach

• Construction of core floral accords (muguet, rose, jasmine)

• Exploration of different floral tonal directions (red, white, green, purple, yellow, etc.)

Main Objective (Level 3): To develop structural thinking and the ability to understand, reconstruct, and create accords from a fundamental level.

You will bring home more than 5 accords of your own creation.

Advance Class Level 3

Advance Class Level 4

Focus: Complex Accord & Classic Structures

This level expands from simple accords into more complex, layered compositions. Students will learn:

• Explore other new 40 raw materials

• How to transform simple accord structures into complex accord structures

• Techniques for creating depth, contrast, and balance

• Classic perfume structures, including:

  • Chypre

  • Fougère

  • Oriental (Amber)

  • Cologne

• Creation of atmospheric & experiential accords (boozy, fantasy, abstract)

Main Objective (Level 4): To build the ability to construct complex accords and understand the classical structures that shape modern perfumery.

You will bring home more than 5 complex accords of your own creation.

Focus: Master Composition & Professional Practice

This is the integration level, where all knowledge comes together into complete perfume creation and professional understanding. Students will learn:

• Explore another new 40 raw materials

• Organic chemistry concepts related to fragrance materials.

• Cheat code on how to read chemical ingredients.

• How to translate a concept into a structured perfume composition

• Combining core accords (Lv 3) + complex accords (Lv 4)

• Techniques for balancing, refining, and optimizing formulas

• Professional evaluation methods (structure, evolution, performance)

• IFRA standards & safety awareness in formulation

Final Project: Students will create perfumes based on a creative brief— simulating real-world perfumery practice.

Main Objective (Level 5): To develop the ability to design, construct, refine, and evaluate a complete perfume composition while understanding professional standards and responsibilities.

In total (bundling) you explore 200 raw materials (including high quality materials such as absolutes), and bring home more than 15 compound, with your own perfumes made from zero.
